This training is perfect for new managers or those who have not previously received comprehensive supervisory training. \n\nCOURSE DETAILS\n\n\n\nOver the course of four two-hour sessions\, participants will gain valuable knowledge and skills in the following areas: \n\n\n\n\n\nWorkplace Laws: An overview of essential laws\, including those related to discrimination\, harassment\, wage and hour regulations\, leaves of absence\, and accommodations for employees with disabilities.\nBest Practices: Effective strategies for interviewing\, hiring\, performance management\, discipline\, and termination.\nCurrent Challenges: Addressing modern supervisory challenges such as employee engagement\, workplace civility\, retention\, and mental health and well-being.\n\nABOUT THE PRESENTERS\nWith a combined 70 years of experience\, Charla and Catharine bring a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to employee management. \nCharla has 38 years of experience practicing employment law and now runs her own consulting company. \nCatharine\, the CHRO for CGI Business Solutions and President of its HR Consulting Division\, has over 30 years of extensive experience in human resources\, specializing in HR consulting\, strategic planning\, compliance\, and training.
